Hobson Leavy is delighted to announce that Denise Cosgrove has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at The Selwyn Foundation.
Denise has had a significant leadership career with CEO experience leading large, complex operational businesses focused on social and commercial outcomes in the government and not-for-profit sectors in both New Zealand and Australia. For the last 5 years she has been CEO of Presbyterian Support Northern (PSN), one of New Zealand’s largest providers of social and health & disability services, serving the upper North Island. Denise was responsible for the provision of services under the brands of Lifeline, Shine, Family Works and Enliven. Denise has established successful cross-sector collaborations and been working to develop strong partnerships to better honour PSN’s commitments to tangata whenua.
Her earlier career has included roles as Chief Executive of the Victorian Work Cover Authority (Worksafe) in Melbourne, General Manager of Claims Management aat ACC, Assistant Auditor General (Strategy) at the Office of the Auditor-General, and General Manager (Operational Development and Communications) at Housing New Zealand Limited.
