Hobson Leavy is pleased to announce the appointment of Wade Alsweiler as the new Manager, Responsible Care for Methanex New Zealand based in Taranaki. Methanex Corporation is the world’s largest producer and supplier of methanol to major international markets in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and South America.
Wade joins Methanex from BP Oil where he is currently the HSSE Manager and has been instrumental in dialing up the volume on culture and human factors, in particular the leaders role in influencing safety behaviour. Prior to this, Wade worked for companies such as Fisher and Paykel Healthcare and Refining NZ. Wade holds a Diploma in Health and Safety Management and brings extensive industry, managerial and functional knowledge and experience that will be invaluable to this role.
