HOBSON LEAVY is delighted to announce the appointment of Sturrock Saunders the new Board Chair of MTF Finance.
Sturrock is a seasoned board chair and professional director with more than 30 years’ experience across the automotive and related industries, and a strong track record in governance, stewardship and leading organisations through change.
He currently holds a number of prominent governance roles, including President of the MTA, Co‑Chair of Dekra NZ (VTNZ), Chair of MITO, and Director of Auto Stewardship New Zealand. He is also past Chair of the Inspiring Future Foundation, a Charitable Trust supporting learners with funding and education opportunities across a diverse range of industries, including the automotive sector. Across both private and public organisations, Sturrock is recognised for his ability to balance commercial insight with purpose‑led leadership, and for his deep understanding of member‑based and networked organisations.
Acting Chair, Noel Johnston, shared that “Sturrock understands what makes MTF different – our people, our network, and the communities we serve. His leadership will help us continue to support our network and deliver great outcomes for our customers and stakeholders as we continue to grow.”
