Hobson Leavy are thrilled to announce that Sjaan Evans has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Pacific Clinical Research Network (PCRN).
Sjaan has a strong operations background across the pharmaceutical industry, manufacturing, and chemical processing industries. Sjaan currently holds the role of GM Research & Development Operations at Douglas Pharmaceuticals.
After completing her master’s degree in 2012 from Deakin University, Sjaan returned to New Zealand and joined mining and infrastructure solutions provider Orica. In 2010, she was then moved to Chempro Logistics (now Hydromet) into a Business Development Manager role.
In 2011, Sjaan joined Danone, working in a range of various operations roles within New Zealand and Australia over the next four years, before joining Douglas Pharmaceuticals in 2015 as NPD Program Manager. Sjaan was with Douglas Pharmaceuticals for over eight years finishing up as GM Research & Development Operations where she was responsible for all day-to-day operations of Douglas Innovations, the Quality teams, program and all management. She was also responsible for R&D P&L ensuring all projects in the pipeline are within budget.
