Hobson Leavy is pleased to announce that Rachel Boase has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer for ProCare.
Rachel is an experienced Chartered Accountant, offering a strong background in accounting and finance gained both in New Zealand as well as offshore. Prior to her new appointment, she has been employed as Head of Finance/Financial Controller for ProCare,w here she is responsible for the finance functions for eleven entities within the Group. Rachel has been with the organisation for the last five years, initially starting on contract before being offered a permanent position.
In Rachel’s earlier career, she held junior financial roles with CA firm, PKF Ross Melville before heading over to London, where she worked for various UK-based organisations before joining up with ITV where she spent the next ten years, albeit in a variety of different senior roles. In 2017, Rachel took a contract role with ITV in Australia “on her way home”, where she could make improvements operationally and increase efficiencies, particularly around the system and reporting requirements. After finishing her contract in 2018, Rachel returned to New Zealand and joined ProCare, where she has been working since.
