HOBSON LEAVY is thrilled to announce that Kirk Hope has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer for the Financial Services Council New Zealand.
Kirk Hope is a seasoned executive with an extensive career in senior leadership roles in the financial services sector, including CEO roles in relevant industry bodies. Employed as Chief Executive for Business New Zealand since 2016, Kirk currently
leads New Zealand’s largest advocacy body.
He has extensive experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders, from CEOs, Boards, and business members of his industry associations, through to his advocacy work dealing with Ministers, senior officials, and key industry groups, as well as regulators and the media, this is an area that he has become highly skilled in. Kirk also demonstrates broader executive leadership capability. In his roles as a CEO, he has led organisations from a broader commercial and strategic perspective.
