The Opportunity: Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Chief Operating Officer is a newly created executive leadership role and trusted second-in-command. The role will drive the delivery of Global Women’s refreshed strategy, lead operational excellence across the organisation, and build senior external relationships that support growth, partnerships and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of Global Women’s 2025-2028 strategy
- Drive operational excellence, systems and performance
- Act as deputy and trusted advisor to the CEO
- Develop strategic partnerships and new revenue opportunities
- Support financial performance, governance and organisational sustainability
Background, Experience & Skills
You will be a commercially minded senior leader with a track record of leading operational delivery, continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement and influencing at executive level. Equally comfortable in strategy and execution, you will bring credibility, resilience and the ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse stakeholder landscape.
You will bring:
- Senior leadership experience in a COO, GM or equivalent position
- Breadth of exposure across enable service functions such as legal/regulatory, people & culture, systems, H&S
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Experience engaging with Boards, executives and external partners
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- A values-led approach and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
