Two significant General Manager opportunities with Northpower | Auckland & Northland
Hobson Leavy is pleased to be partnering with Northpower on the appointment of two General Managers to lead its Auckland and Northland Energy Services operations.
As one of New Zealand’s largest multi-utility businesses, Northpower is entering an exciting period of growth and investment. With an evolving leadership structure and increasing demand for critical electricity infrastructure, these appointments present an opportunity to shape the performance and future direction of two important regional businesses.
General Manager – Auckland
Leading a team of approximately 430 people, this is a substantial operational and commercial leadership opportunity, with responsibility for a complex contracting business. The focus will be on driving operational excellence, strengthening customer relationships, lifting commercial performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
General Manager – Northland
Leading approximately 150 people across Northpower’s home region, this role offers the opportunity to lift operational performance, build leadership capability and drive innovation in how network services are delivered, while developing opportunities for regional growth.
Across both appointments, we’re interested in connecting with established operational leaders who bring strong commercial judgement, a commitment to safety and a track record of leading complex, field-based businesses.
Experience within the electricity sector would be advantageous, although we also welcome conversations with leaders from broader utilities, infrastructure, construction and field services environments.
