Hobson Leavy is thrilled to announce that Sam Morrah has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at HQ Travel Group.
Sam is a seasoned leader in the travel and tourism sector with over 10 years of global experience across South East Asia, Singapore, the US, and Australia. Most recently Sam has held the role of COO at Active Adventures and previously worked for global names including Club Med, STA Travel, and Contiki Holidays. Sam brings particular expertise driving growth and leading global teams across sales, marketing, customer experience, and operations, achieving organisational objectives. Sam will relocate to join the HQ Travel Group team in New Plymouth.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts (English and Film & Media Studies) from the University of Otago, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Canterbury.
