Hobson Leavy has partnered with MetService to recruit a Programme Director Transition.
This 12-18 month fixed-term role will lead the successful transition of MetService into a wholly-owned subsidiary of NIWA, a key step in New Zealand’s science sector reform. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Programme Director will play a vital role in supporting operational continuity during the transformation by working with the wider ELT, building cultural alignment, and driving long-term outcomes and benefit realisation from the changes.
We’re looking for an experienced senior leader with a proven track record in complex, integrated programme management, ideally with experience in public sector transitions or mergers. Strong strategic, operational, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as well as the ability to lead through change with resilience and integrity.
If this sounds like you – or if you know someone who might be a great fit – we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Anastasia Gyson for a confidential discussion.
