Hobson Leavy are pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Fraser to the role of General Manager People, Culture and Transformation at Timberlands Limited.
Timberlands is a leading forest management company, which acts on behalf of the Kaingaroa Timberlands Partnership (the forest owner), to manage New Zealand’s iconic plantation forest, the Kaingaroa Timberlands Forest estate, spanning across 200,000+ ha in the central North Island of New Zealand.
Keith is a seasoned people and culture leader, with a wealth of experience leading across manufacturing environments and operating within the forestry sector. He spent eight years with Norske Skog, gaining exposure across general HR management, supply chain and logistics. In 2010, Keith went on to join leading Australasian packaging business, ASX-listed Pact Group Holdings. As GM People & Culture, Keith was ultimately responsible for all people and culture initiatives and HR strategy for the NZ business – 900 staff across 9 national sites.
Most recently, Keith has been with Oji Fibre Solutions as Head of Human Resources for the business’s largest division – Pulp & Paper. He has been supporting the cohort of 900 staff across the Kinleith Mill and Kawerau’s Tasman Mill, leading a range of industrial relations’ activities and championing collaboration across the business.
Keith joins Timberlands’ Executive Team on October 1st.
