Hobson Leavy are delighted to announce that Geraldine McBride has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director for Tower Insurance.
Geraldine McBride is an experienced Professional Director who also had a earlier career as a senior executive in the technology sector. Geraldine’s executive career spanned 30 years and was global in nature including working in New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Singapore and North America. Her experience traversed a number of functions including sales but also systems engineering and later CEO roles. Geraldine worked for well known technology companies such as IBM, Dell and SAP.
Geraldine has sat on the board of Fisher and Paykal Healthcare since 2013 and the board of Sky TV since 2013. At Sky TV she Chairs the People and Performance Subcommittee. In 2014 Geraldine was appointed to the National Australia Bank board which she served on until December 2020. At NAB she was a member of the Audit Committee and the Customer Committee. Geraldine’s Fisher and Paykal Healthcare and Sky TV directorships are due to end August 2022 and October 2022 respectively and she is therefore seeking more board appointments.
