Hobson Leavy is thrilled to announce that Catherine Thompson have been appointed as Chief Sustainability Officer for Mercury.
Catherine brings over 30 years of experience in the energy and legal sectors, and has a reputation as a person with strong values and the ability to build deep stakeholder relationships.
She previously held positions as GM Regulatory & Risk for Manawa Energy and prior to that was Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and General Counsel for Contact Energy. Catherine has also worked in private practice and in-house legal roles both in the UK and New Zealand.
