Hobson Leavy is delighted to announce that Alan Thomson has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Beef + Lamb New Zealand.
Alan has broad commercial experience within the agricultural sector across Australia and New Zealand and brings a strong understanding of the farming sector and networks across dairy, red meat, and horticulture. For the past ~4 years, Alan has been with Japanese conglomerate, Hitachi – which is active across a broad range of industries, including energy, machinery and infrastructure.
Alan is very passionate about working with B+LNZ Chair, Kate Acland, her board, the B+LNZ team and strongly collaborating with other industry good stakeholders to bring significantly improved sustainable profitability to NZ farmers, and through them NZ as a country.
