Hobson Leavy is excited to announce that Anna Scott has been appointed Chief Executive Officer for NZX – Smartshares.
Following completion of her engineering degree, Anna embarked on her career in Financial Services. She has leadership experience in a variety of different functional areas as well as business consulting, investment banking, project management and private wealth advisory.
She has a breadth of experience managing financial services’ teams, encompassing trading, technology, operations, advisory, finance, recruitment, and compliance. She has led key change initiatives around technology and IT systems upgrades, as well as restructuring of teams, and redesigning business’ operating models, employing new technology partnerships.
She is a very client-centric leader with a sound understanding of and focus on clients and the importance of them to a business.
