Hobson Leavy is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Marris to the role of General Counsel and Head of Commercial for Synlait Milk.
Deborah brings over 20 experience working in financial institutions internationally. Most recently she was Managing Director, Head of APAC Global Compliance Services for Barclays India, prior to which she was Head of Risk and Compliance for Westpac Australia. Before this she spent six years with ANZ, her most senior role there as General Counsel, Asia Pacific, Europe, & America based in Australia, before which she was Chief of Staff and Head of Tax for the NZ business.
Deborah has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration in Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington.
