Hobson Leavy is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Penney to the role of General Manager Investment for Stride Investment Management Ltd (SIML).
Steve joins SIML from HRL Morrison & Co Limited, where he is currently Investment Director, bringing considerable experience in property and infrastructure investment and strategy. Steve has led investment projects for Morrison & Co in relation to property investment and redevelopment, and brings considerable skills in managing multi-functional teams to deliver unique property investment strategies. Steve’s earlier career includes nine years with PwC.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Massey University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants NZ.
