Hobson Leavy is delighted to announce Olivia Meo-Groser has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer for Avanti Finance.
Olivia has broad experience within the financial service sector both nationally and internationally. She began her career with Buddle Findlay, before heading offshore in 2004 joining global credit rating agency, Standard & Poors (S&P), where she spent the next fifteen years in London and Hong Kong.
Olivia returned to NZ in 2019, joining with hummgroup (previously FlexiGroup) as General Counsel for New Zealand and responsible for legal, compliance and operational risk across the NZ business. In 2022, she moved to a GM, Business Performance role at hummgroup, covering both the Australia and New Zealand businesses.
Olivia joined Avanti in April 2023 as their Chief Risk Officer and is thrilled to continue contributing to Avanti’s strategic direction as Chief Operating Officer.
