HOBSON LEAVY pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Banner as Chief Financial Officer at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand.
Brett brings more than 20 years’ experience across public sector finance, governance, risk, procurement and ICT. He joins us from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), and has previously held CFO roles at the Commerce Commission and the Ministry for Culture and Heritage.
He also serves on the NZ On Air Board, where he chairs the Audit and Risk Committee.
Brett’s experience leading organisational change, strengthening business planning, and lifting capability will support CAA as we continue to deliver as a modern, effective regulator focused on safety, security, and value for the aviation system.
