HOBSON LEAVY is delighted to have partnered with Ahuahu Group Limited Te Nehenehenui (Ngāti Maniapoto) on the appointment of Lee Taharangi Gray as Independent Director.
Lee is currently a Partner at Deloitte leading the firm’s National Māori Services Group. He brings extensive experience working with iwi organisations, Māori trusts, commercial entities, and government agencies, alongside a strong background in governance, commercial strategy, and investment advisory.
Alongside his Deloitte leadership role, Lee has extensive experience supporting iwi through settlement and post-settlement phases, advising on commercial transactions, strategy, and technical and financial advisory. His current and former governance roles include Deloitte NZ, Waihikurangi Trust, Tainui Group Holdings Future Director, Ngāi Te Rangi Settlement Trust Investment Committee and Titahi Bay Kohanga Reo as Chair.
Of Ngāti Maniapoto descent, Lee brings a deep commitment to the long-term aspirations and prosperity of Maniapoto and will bring valuable expertise to the board as Ahuahu Group continues to advance its intergenerational investment.
