Hobson Leavy is delighted to announce that Mark Kennedy has been appointed as General Manager, Lumber for Pan Pac Forest Products.
Mark presents with significant experience in operations management, in manufacturing environments. He has over twenty years of senior operations and financial management experience with strong business and people leadership, strategy and change management along with deep asset management and health and safety experience.
Throughout Mark’s career, he has spent time with Kimberly-Clark in the UK. He was initially appointed as a Maintenance Engineer before moving into a Technical Manager role for Kimberly-Clark’s Nonwovens business in the UK. In 2008, he returned to New Zealand and Mark took a role with SCA Hygiene Australasia based in Auckland, managing the Swanson Road site. After working as the GM Operations at Asaleor Care for five and a half years, Mark moved to Altus as their National Operations Manager. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, operations, product quality, health and safety, as well as freight and distribution.
