Hobson Leavy is thrilled to announce that Mark Cross has been appointed as Non-Executive Director for Fisher & Paykel Healthcare.
Mark has extensive governance experience in other listed companies. He currently chairs the board of Chorus, where he has been a director since 2016. He is also a director of Xero, and a board member and Investment Committee Chair of Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). He is a former chair of Milford Asset Management and a former director of Z Energy, Genesis Energy and Argosy Property.
Previously, Mark held executive positions with Deutsche Bank in London and Sydney, as well as Lloyds Corporate Finance/Southpac Corporation in Australia and New Zealand. In those roles, he was an advisor to businesses across a range of sectors including healthcare, utilities, energy, industrials and chemicals.
Mark is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a chartered fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He resides in New Zealand.
