As the official Recruitment Partner of this important organisation, we look forward to contributing to Aotearoa’s community of current and emerging non-executive directors, equipping them with the tools needed to address climate change as part of their strategic decision making.

Chapter Zero New Zealand is a chapter of the Climate Governance Initiative, a global network of board directors, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum. The mission of Chapter Zero is to mobilise, connect, educate and equip directors and boards to make climate-smart governance decisions, thereby creating long term value for both shareholders and stakeholders.

Climate Competency is an essential part of the director skill set for Chapter Zero. Hobson Leavy will be supporting Chapter Zero through guiding and supporting directors and board members, to identify and attract leaders who are alive to the climate change challenge. We will bring our expertise in appointing leaders to ensuring New Zealand’s board directors have the climate at the forefront of their values and committed to action.
