Established in 1988, Amisfield is a pioneering and award-winning specialist producer of Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines, created from fruit grown on its 90-hectare single estate vineyard in the heart of Central Otago. Alongside annual wine production of 30,000 cases, Amisfield is also home to an award-winning restaurant which was launched in 2005. The Board seek to appoint a new CEO who will lead Amisfield through the next phase in its evolution and growth. The CEO will lead an enviable premium brand, and partner with the Board to deliver improvements and opportunities for growth and efficiencies.
The new CEO will lead Amisfield’s committed and passionate people to reach their full potential, encouraging a collaborative and empowering culture and one which embraces change and seeks ways in which to continually lift the bar.
Ideally the appointee will have a background in marketing and is likely to have gained their skills and disciplines in an FMCG environment and/or have experience in luxury branded goods or services. Experience within the wine industry is advantageous.
Collaboration, communication and a down-to-earth approach will prove important to success and the appointee will have a passion for wine, a drive for success and a growth mindset, while also demonstrating humility and empathy in keeping with the culture of the business.
The position is based in Cromwell or Queenstown.
