NMIT is seeking a new Chief Executive who can provide courageous exemplary leadership, driving growth and development. The position is based in Nelson. The sector has a number of demanding challenges. NMIT must continue to be driven by technology and innovation to further utilise a blended and flexible learning environment. We are looking for candidates with strategic agility, proven commercial acumen, and outstanding relationship skills with a commitment to placing the student at the centre of the learning journey. Candidates will have demonstrated experience leading a complex organisation with multiple activities and diverse stakeholder interests including iwi, community groups, business sector, and government. Education sector experience is not essential but an interest in the sector is a prerequisite.
